Winter Netball
Winter Netball is run May-Sept. It is open to all ages and levels of skills, for competitors both girls and boys playing NetSetGo from age 6-8 on Friday Nights and Juniors on Saturdays from age 9-17. Our Ladies Open competition runs on a Monday night, indoors at MARC and ladies and girls aged 14+ can compete. We do not run a stand alone Mens/boys competition at the moment but would love to include one in the future.
Spring Netball
Our Spring Competition is a 8 week competition run outdoors on a Wednesday night, in the last school term Oct-Dec. All age groups are accepted and we welcome mixed teams, graded by age and ability, to play with all girls teams in all age groups. Again we do not have a Mes/boys competition but we would love to support one in the future.
Association Championship
Our Development program sends teams to the Association Championships in June each year and forms part of the Netball Pathway for Players, Coaches & Umpires. At the end of each season we hold open trials, and invite girls to represent our Association the following June. Training begins after the return to school the next year. Netball WA runs the competition for girls turning 12-17, Open & Masters Teams. The Association supports all teams offering development and training to ages 12-17. We are happy to support Open & Masters teams from players in our competition.
South West Peel Regional Championships
Our Development program sends teams to the South West Peel Regional Championships in July each year as a continuation of the Netball Pathway for Players, Coaches & Umpires. Invited Athletes from our Development Program that are turning 12-20, and in Open & Masters Teams, represent our Association. These athletes are viewed and become eligible for selection into the Peel Academy Program, which represents Peel in the State Cup Fever In Time Program, run by NWA. The Association supports all teams offering development and training to ages 12-20. We are also happy to support Open & Masters teams from players in our competition.
